Not Giving Chemicals Enough Time to Work
If you spend most of your time scrubbing during spring cleaning, that’s a sign that you’re doing something wrong. You can cut down on scrubbing time considerably by simply being patient with your chemicals.
Depending on the products you use, you should spray them on surfaces and then walk away- in the meantime, you could take a break or spray something else while the first round of cleaning products breaks down the dirt.
They don’t work instantly, so check the bottle for instructions to find out how long you have to wait for each of the chemicals you plan on using.
