Jennifer Lopez and Shakira
The 2020 show was not the first one featuring amazing Latinas who rocked the halftime stage, but it was certainly one that left a big impact with how amazing it was. Due to the blacklisting of Colin Kaepernick, it was reportedly quite a challenge to find someone to perform, but the Colombian goddess Shakira and the New York Puerto Rican hustler agreed to take the stage up by storm, proving to everyone that they still have it! We would like to see some of the latest top charters be able to dance and sing as flawlessly as these two do!
Shakira delighted us not only with her guitar skills but also with her drum and dance ones, while J. Lo showed us her skills on the pole are as fresh as they have always been. An amazing surprise had been the cameo of Lopez’s daughter, Emme. and a choir of children who sang Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the U.S.A.”.
Truly one for the history books, especially with the pandemic following soon after.
The Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stones are iconic and for good reason! Their performance in 2006 had been legendary for two memorable things: Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones’ Super Bowl stage had been shaped after their logo and their setlist included only three songs– Yes, just THREE! We all would have loved to hear more than the amazing three songs, but how can we say no to “Start me up”, “Satisfaction”, and “Rough Justice”. Truly a night to remember for all the OG rock and roll fans!

Was this grouping put together prior to this last Superbowl at SoFi 2/13/2022. If so OK, but if it was listed afterwards then the person(s) putting this list together is a HATER(s), It was entertaining and flowed well… I could say more, but that show wasn’t Personal…. it was darn good… It deserved to be recognized as one of the BEST.
