Madonna keeps showing us that she is one of the biggest stars of the last half a century. Not only has she given us iconic songs, but she is a performer to her core. At the Super Bowl XLVI in 2012, she not only gave us an explosive show but she brought along some of the most expressive and talented stars to perform alongside her: M.I.A., Nicki Minaj, and Cee Lo Green. The show had amazing songs like “Gimme Your Luvin”, and an LMFAO mashup between “Music” and “Party Rock Anthem”. It may not have been everyone’s cup of tea, but it was definitely worth watching!
Michael Jackson
We mentioned earlier the old marching band performances that used to be the staple for halftime shows back in the day. Yet, we did not mention why and who changed this! Truly, Michael Jackson was way ahead of his time with the huge performances he had and his Super Bowl halftime performance in 1993 still remains one of the best performances of all time! The King of Pop performed “We are the world” together with a children’s choir, followed by “Heal the World” which was also accompanied by a huge inflatable glove in the middle of the stage. Obviously, he did not have the time to perform everything in his extensive catalog of hits, but he truly gave us an amazing performance that is remembered even 29 years later.
The fact that he was the first star to perform during halftime shows just set the bar really high for everyone else that followed!

Was this grouping put together prior to this last Superbowl at SoFi 2/13/2022. If so OK, but if it was listed afterwards then the person(s) putting this list together is a HATER(s), It was entertaining and flowed well… I could say more, but that show wasn’t Personal…. it was darn good… It deserved to be recognized as one of the BEST.
