Flying with children is no easy feat, as most parents can agree. However, that doesn’t mean that your common decency should fly out the window just because you’re outside of your home turf.
Flight attendants understand that children aren’t always the best at following directions—but it does make their jobs more difficult when kids are given a free rein of the cabin, explained a Reddit user and former flight attendant.
“The aisle is not a plane-sized play pin. The floor under your seat is not a diaper bin (yes, actually found one there). I am not a babysitter (yes, I was told this once by a mother with a child that was entirely out of control),” the Redditor wrote. “The seat-back/tray table is not a coloring book. The lavatory is not a tree house. I could go on and on.”

I travel everyyear for 6 months. When I know that the season is too many rude people will be travelling, I will book on the business class. On the economy class, most of those travel for the first time were such a jerk, they will just stand up and wants to get out of their seat even when they see you have your meal on the table. Another thing with the arm rest. the armrest is to be share by two persons seating next to each other but they do not think about that… they will just put their arm not only on the whole arm rest but invading into your seat. I think when they booked a flight thru any travel agent or airline booking… they should print a do and do not do inside the plane.
