In the old days, Western Union was in business for exchanging telegrams. Over time, it turned into a money transfer service, much like MoneyGram. But Kids born in recent years will probably never use Western Union thanks to payment apps like Zelle and Venmo.
Why go out of your way when you could transfer funds with a few taps on your smartphone, after all?

If you care about the trees then you’re probably happy that print magazines and newspapers are going out of fashion, much to the dismay of several such companies. Subscribing to print media in order to stay informed was all the rage but nowadays, everyone can access all the information they want on their phones, laptops, tablets, or desktop computers.
Books, however, might still stay in fashion for a good, long time. There’s just something magical about curling up with a good book, though devices such as Kindle have started shifting the tides a little bit, and with the rising popularity of audiobooks, it’s now even easier to read on the go.

We still have our land line. It costs a fraction of what people pay for cell service, it never needs to be recharged, and I don’t have to go looking for it!
