Boris Johnson
In March 2020, Boris Johnson made headlines after he publicly announced he’s been openly shaking hands with people in overloaded hospitals- people who were infected with the coronavirus, no less. To nobody’s surprise, he later tested positive for COVID-19 and ended up in intensive care.
In the same place he was treated for the virus, Johnson later received the AstraZeneca vaccine, at London’s St Thomas’ hospital.
Many of his political opponents claimed that getting the vaccines would not undo the harm he posed by misleading the community as to the severity of the virus early on.
