Back in June 2020, the former vice president announced that America should not be expecting a second wave of cases as there would be none. Not 6 months later, the leader of the Trump administration’s coronavirus task force received the vaccine and declared that hope was on the way for the American people.
What’s more, Pence received his vaccine on live TV, possibly in the hopes of encouraging others to get it as well, especially after the number of newly recorded deaths in the U.S. surpassed 3,000 for the third day in a row.
