Space-Saving Vacuum Bags
In theory, vacuum bags are a genius invention. In actuality, they do not work as well as they should. For $20 to $40 per bag or set, you’re better of sticking to traditional storage bins or bags.
Here’s why. If you check any reviews for the vacuum bags you’ll notice that they fail 99% of the time. Some customers have found holes in them the moment they take them out of their boxes. Others are frustrated over the zippers and, worst of all, most buyers claim that the bags eventually taken on air anyway.
If they do work, they usually end up leaving your clothes smelly and wrinkly. Really not worth the effort and money!
Popcorn Machine
Here’s the thing, popcorn machines come with different price tags. The cheaper ones are flimsy and break quickly. The more expensive ones may work better but they’re not worth the cost. Will you ever get back your $300 dollars?
You could just stick to Jiffy Pop or go the even more affordable route- get some raw kernels. You could even stick to microwave popcorn!
Really, do the math and see for yourself that the cost is simply not worth it, not to mention the fact that these machines are bulky and, if we’re honest, kind of ugly too.
Jewelry Armoires
Considering the fact that jewelry armoires cost between $75 and $400 dollars, they’re really not worth it. They take up space when you could just use a closet organizer and place your jewelry in there.
OK, fine, maybe you want your jewelry on display in order to reach for it more efficiently. In that case, you could try DIY-ing! Some egg cartons can be painted and decorated to your liking. Even better, use an old frame and some chicken wires for a chic look!

actually I love my egg cooker. the eggs are easy to peel and that isn’t the case with eggs boiled on a pot. It is easy to do and shuts off automatically. I am only cooking for one and 6 eggs are the perfect amount for me.
Dumbest article I ever read.
Some of us have hand problems or disability s and need electric can openers
Or we have allot of jewelry thats too fine to store in egg crates.
Get a life
I thoroughly agree with most of what you said. Except for the Salad Spinner. I received one as a wedding present way back in 1977 and have used it every single time I make a salad or use some lettuce for any dish. I hate a salad that has water running around the bottom of the bowl. And unless you enjoy shaking lettuce at the kitchen sink for several minutes or wasting paper towels trying to dry it, and still not get the lettuce drip free, the spinner is perfect! And as far as taking up space, it’s only the size of a medium to large cooking pot. And IMO a must have in every kitchen. If mine ever breaks, I’ll be purchasing another one immediately! P.S. I have one with a crank. I can’t speak of the ones with a string to pull, but they may not be as of good quality.
