‘Imagine’
There’s not a single soul out there who hasn’t heard ‘Imagine.’ The song and the 1971 album carry the same name, repeatedly cited as one of the best songs written by John Lennon. The lyrics are simply overwhelming, and they couldn’t have been otherwise since John Lennon said that the song was inspired by his wife, Yoko Ono.
Weebles
Weebles made their monumental debut back in 1971 (50 years ago) under Hasbro’s Romper Room label. Back then, most American households had at least one of these egg-shaped toys. The whole idea of designing and creating weebles was to make them return to the upright position after throwing them. For over a decade, weebles conquered the souls of many children. Now, the children who used to play with them are close to retirement.
