Depp has concluded that “fame” is not something he can get used to even after all the films he has starred in. While appreciating his fans who buy tickets to his movies, he hates being a celebrity so much he has compared life in the public eye to “living like a fugitive.”
He despises having to plot every time he steps out into the public because of all the strategic planning it takes so that he can go to a restaurant. He is aware that he has to pay the piper and went on about his life running through back doors for years.
Still, since his children are grown and aware of what is happening in the media, he chooses to keep his life private, not being bothered by what people speak of him.
