Cows outnumber humans 3 to 1 in Montana
YES, you read that right! There is a U.S. state with more cows than people: Montana. And we can only hope that they will not stage a revolt against us… Because, if this happens, they will most definitely win the battle.
There are around 2.6 million cattle in The Treasure State, and when we think that Montana has just over 1 million residents, the numbers are quite impressive. However, it comes as no surprise, because miners weren’t actually the only early settlers here; cattle ranches also began thriving.
Someone had to feed the miners, right?
