7. Dollar store batteries may destroy your electronics.
Not all products are created equal, and that’s certainly the case with batteries. We all need them, and sometimes we tend to grab the cheapest versions, but that’s a terrible idea, especially if you’re in a dollar store.
Dollar store batteries might leak, and, as a result, they might destroy your electronics. Yes, you’re saving a couple of dollars when you purchase them from your local dollar store, but, in the end, it will cost you more if your battery-powered gadget is destroyed.
Think twice before using a cheaply made battery on your one-hundred dollar bill worth gadget. However, Duracell batteries aren’t worth the price either. They are just way too expensive. A great solution is Costco’s Kirkland batteries, which, by the way, they are manufactured by Duracell.
