While Hollywood can easily be described as a ‘cutthroat’ industry, Angelina Jolie has taken that to a whole new level. The Academy Award-winning and Golden Globe-winning actress may have had to learn to be proficient with all manner of weaponry for her many roles like ‘Lara Croft: Tomb Raider’ in 2001, or the 2010 action thriller ‘Salt’, but when it comes to knives, she already as sharp as they come.
In 2008, the star told W Magazine that she actually collects knives/daggers, a hobby which her mom got her interested in when she was just 11/12 years old, and it’s an obsession that she has (controversially) passed on to her son, Maddox, who was just aged 7 when she bought him his first dagger. Although this might seem somewhat irresponsible, Jolie has pointed out that the daggers she purchased for her son are not sharp, so he doesn’t injure himself.
