7. Billy Boy
No, not Billy the Kid, but Billy boy! In the ’50s and even in the ’60s, Billy boys were responsible for making tea for other working men. It is basically what we would call today the job as an intern (kidding…). So, yeah, everybody worked back in the day, including boys.
8. Computer
We all know what a computer is nowadays, but back in the early 17th century, computers were actually women who were supposed to crunch numbers and calculate figures all day long. And they did it by hand! For those who aren’t good at math, it might sound like torture.
P.S.: In all fairness, I’m actually grateful that this job doesn’t exist anymore.
