Can Tabs Hole
Can tabs are, of course, designed to help you open cans. But on beverages, alcoholic or otherwise, the extra hole is actually meant to work as a straw holder.
When you put a straw in a can, the fizz will eventually push the straw up, especially if it’s made out of plastic. However, if you thread the straw through the little hole and push it down instead, it remains in place, meaning you can avoid awkward spills.
Just make sure you don’t accidentally pull the entire tab off when you open your drink. Then, carefully twist it back until the tab hole is aligned with the new hole you’ve just made and, ta-da! No more awkward straw levitation practices!
