Jello Biafra

The artist formerly known as Eric Reed Boucher, Jello Biafra was the former lead singer and songwriter for the San Francisco punk rock band Dead Kennedys and he certainly had some radical ideas for what he would do if he were elected president in 2000, some more out there than others.

Biafra wanted to withdraw from NAFTA and the World Trade Organization and establish a national minimum wage, all ideas that could have merit. However, he also wanted to abolish the military, punish slum lords by making them live in their own buildings, make polluters “inhale and swim in the mess they’ve made until they clean it up.” and end the War on Drugs by basically legalizing everything. His most bizarre policy would be to lower the voting age from 18 to just 5 years old.
