10 of the Weirdest People Who Have Ever Ran for President

Lyndon LaRouche

So far we have looked a few candidates that could be considered a few raspberries short of a strawberry patch and ones who have ran for office on way more than one occasion, but this guy not only ran eight times but is clearly a despicable and disgusting human being. He first ran for office in 1976 as the U.S. Labor Party candidate but would later call himself a ‘Democrat’. However, there was nothing democratic about his beliefs.

Not only was he a Holocaust denier, he would go on to claim that all the evil in the world came from the Jewish people, including but not exclusive to, drugs, Satanism, and the KGB. He would also be the second person in history, the first being Eugene Debs in 1920, to run for office while serving time in jail after he was sentenced to 15 years in 1989 for scheming to defraud the IRS and intentionally defaulting on more than $30 million worth of loans from his supporters. Sadly, he only served five.

    1. Wow, you must be a Democrat. He did more for this Country and its citizens than anyone will ever do. I bet you were never in the Military.
